REAR CLUB LOUNGE
Purpose-built for remote touring with no compromise on comfort, the Salute Governor is a premium off road caravan built for those who expect more from every journey.
The Salute Governor is a premium 22-foot off road caravan built for Australian travellers who want to explore remote destinations without compromising on comfort. With a spacious Rear Club Lounge, Centre Ensuite, and Full Kitchen, it offers the ideal setup for long-distance touring or extended stays off grid. Designed with true off-road capability, robust construction and premium materials throughout, the Governor combines practicality with luxury in every detail.
To help you personalise your experience, the Governor is available in three specification levels—SL-1, SL-2, and Unlimited—each offering increasing levels of off grid performance, technology, and creature comforts.
The Salute Governor features our advanced Duratech Hybrid Timberless Frame—a full structural frame constructed from advanced composite members with an aluminium roof structure. This engineering approach delivers the strength and flexibility required for Australian touring conditions while eliminating the risk of timber rot.
The frame is securely bonded and mechanically fixed using multiple reinforced connection points to ensure long-term structural integrity and durability. Fire resistant, thermally efficient and 100% water ingress proof, Duratech is designed to perform in a wide range of Australian environments.
A One-Piece Composite Floor adds strength below, delivering a lightweight, waterproof base with excellent structural integrity and resistance to the elements.
Prefer a lower starting price? A Meranti Timber Frame is also available—delivering proven long-term performance at a reduced cost.
Every Salute Governor rides on a tough, Australian-made off-road chassis—engineered for strength and reliability in remote terrain. Matched with premium independent suspension systems, including Titan-X Coil Spring Suspension on SL-1 & SL-2 or Titan-Air L4 4-Channel Self-Levelling Airbag Suspension on Unlimited, the Governor is built to handle rough tracks, corrugations & off-grid destinations with ease.
All Governor models are equipped for off-grid travel, with REDARC battery management, lithium power, rooftop solar, generous water storage & grey water capacity. Moving through the SL-1, SL-2 & Unlimited tiers brings increasing levels of power, solar capacity & technology, with the Unlimited featuring 600Ah lithium, 1000W solar, REDARC Alpha 75 + RedVision & a 3000W inverter.
Now standard on all SL-2 & Unlimited models, Duraplate Protective Panels replace traditional checkerplate on the sides, front & rear. Manufactured from high-grade aluminium with a black protective coating, they’re strong, refined, resistant to rust, corrosion & wear, and provide a water-tight seal for lasting protection.
Optional protective enhancements are available across the range, including premium Line-X coating for customers seeking an additional layer of protection in extreme off-road conditions.
From electric entry steps and 12V awnings (select tiers) to rear-view cameras and sway control systems, Salute caravans are equipped with practical features that enhance safety and ease of use. Slide-out toolboxes, user-friendly controls, and thoughtful inclusions help streamline life on the road—whether you’re towing, setting up, or settling in.
Enjoy a refined travel experience with high-end finishes, intuitive layouts & premium appliances. Expect features like soft-close drawers, Sirocco fans, Smart TVs, Fusion stereos, and kitchens designed to perform as beautifully as they look. The spacious Rear Club Lounge offers the ideal setting to unwind, entertain, or simply enjoy the view—adding a touch of luxury to every journey.
From benchtops and splashbacks to upholstery and cladding, you’ll have the freedom to customise your van’s look inside and out. Whether you prefer neutral tones or striking contrast, our extensive range of selections makes it easy to create something that’s unmistakably yours.
Every Salute Caravan is built for comfort, performance & adventure—but now you can choose the level of inclusions that suits your travel style. Whether you’re after a well-equipped essential setup, enhanced off-grid features, or the full top-tier experience, our new tiered packages—SL-1, SL-2, and Unlimited—make it easier to find your perfect fit.
